supercharger....you can always just get a 3" OME lift for about $1k later on....and 3" is all you need anyway.

I had the same conundrum, went with a 3inch Fox Racing lift first to see how much power I lose. Next year supercharger for sure.

    this is a good point.

my 2001 had the TRD SC and with 91 i couldn't give it full throttle under load or it would knock like a mofo! i always had to keep it in power mode (the tranny shift mode) to make sure i wasn't on too tall a gear when i gave it gas or the rattle snakes would wake up.

Get the SC, my 1st mod, no regrets, it improves everything the truck already does very well, to doing great!

    Then get a suspension kit!

You will need the extra horse power, and suspension to head for the desert if your wife or GF sees the CC statement.

Short of armed robbery, not sure how else your going to get these things less you spend money.:D

I work hard, I play hard. When it comes to the pocket book, to each his own.

I get just as excited when I do something that works well on the cheap too.

You talking S/C systems? The main difference is that TRD uses a roots supercharger, whereas URD uses a centrifugal supercharger. Is that what you were wondering?

    Why yes... Yes I would

Added onto stock vehicles, the URD makes about 320 hp peak, while the TRD makes just a hair over 300. The numbers below are from a running list over at XR-U and show the highest numbers recorded by the different kits.

    URD MKI:

    - Fastest 1/8 mile MPH: 79.19mph (WallasX - 75mm pulley)
    - Fastest 1/4 mile MPH: 102.02mph (WallasX - 75mm pulley)
    - Highest Peak HP = 350rwhp @ 5000rmps (Spyder327 - Stage 2.5 + Water/Meth - DynoComp)
    - Highest Peak TQ = 390rwtq @ 4300rpms (Spyder327 - Stage 2.5 + Water/Meth - DynoComp)
    - 2500rpm TQ = ~330rwtq (Spyder327 - Stage 2.5 + Water/Meth)

    URD MKII:
    - Fastest 0-60mph = N/A
    - Fastest 50-90mph = 5.5 seconds (blackx-runner - Stage III)
    - Fastest 0-100mph = N/A
    - Fastest 1/8 mile MPH: 80.30mph (blackx-runner - Stage II)
    - Fastest 1/4 mile MPH: 106.68mph (blackx-runner - Stage III)
    - Highest Peak HP = 422rwhp @ 6150rmps (Manufacturer's Stage III w/race tune - DynoJet)

    - 2500rpm TQ = 300rwtq (Manufacturer's Stage III w/race tune - DynoJet)

    TRD Blower:
    - Fastest 0-60mph = 4.93 seconds (XrunnIT - Bolt-on, APR X-1, 7th Inj, stock pulley)
    - Fastest 50-90mph = 4.75 seconds(Deathshadow - Bolt-on, APR X-1, 7th Inj, 2.7" pulley)

    - Highest Peak HP = 388rwhp @ 6200rpms (ABP - Bolt-on, APR X-1, 7th Inj, APR pulley, e85- DynoJet)
    - Highest Peak TQ = 404rwtq @ 4200rpms (ABP - Bolt-on, APR X-1, 7th Inj, APR pulley, e85- DynoJet)
