5lug and 6lug leaf springs

difference between 6lug and 5lug leaf springs

i know that 6lugs are spring over and that 5lugs are spring under but has any one put a 6lug leaf springs on a 5lug? that bolt in to the OEM placement.

Trying to get more travel in the rear the dmz kit will work on the 5lug frame set up but everything said and done going to be about 4,000 or more! and that cutting everything off the frame


i would like to keep the OEM front eyelid and change the rear hanger/shackle set up with new leaf springs but then i only have a 1 peace drive shaft so do i have to look in to ring and pinion angle and the drive shaft and tranny?

just want to know what you guys think thanks!
