Oh I am NOT keeping up with that just so y'all know

 

Two updates:

We have a BEER SPONSOR lined up, there will be a keg at the group site when I roll in Friday night. Bring Your Own Cup (adding two girls optional).

If you want to be on the t-shirt next year get a good picture of your truck at the event, doing something cool and/or stupid.

 

You're supposed to make that a challenge.

 

For legal and ethical reasons I am no longer allowed to challenge this group to "do something cool or stupid".

Not a contest. And I'm pretty new to wheeling and haven't been out all year. This will be the first time out, so I'm not going to be going too crazy. I'm sure you'll keep up just fine.

I haven't seen any talk if groups yet, im looking to run blues/greens

 

No worries. Seems like it'll be a decent group either way.

Oh boy. Every time I've gone out with a Jeep they break in one way or another.

One was some ignition lockout and dude couldn't even start it. Had to pull some fuses and got it going. One lost brakes that was fun. And just this past weekend one lost their valve stems it was an interesting failure mode to be fair. And not Jeep specific.

I ran blues at BHM and was decent enough with them but the group was with was saying that the blues there at BHM were closer to greens at AOAA. I'm stock with sliders and IFS skid - but considering this is day one of a week and a half trip I'll probably be taking it easy.

 

I'm looking to run the eastern side as I spent most of last year criss crossing the western side. Anyone else running blues that way?

 

I'm thinking the same thing, with the whale back entry blocked last year, it was a single, long road to get over there, and I didn't do any of the east.

 

No promises but I might have some goodies too.

 

Anybody need a spotter. My truck isn’t ready for the trails yet but I wouldn’t mind making the trip up to have some beers and shoot the shit.

I'll be running greens in the jeep, chaising Ragnar on his quad, if you want to join us.

 

I'm probably going to be running greens as well, unless my friends get me into trouble.
