I'm here (and LBL) to have a good time, with mostly good people. Why you gotta try and shit on dreams?

 

I used a cut off wheel on mine. Works fine but is slow. Then I used a jigsaw with a fine tooth blade on Jeremy's. Works fine and was faster. Multiple things will work but unless you have a steady hand and care a lot about how it looks, it's gonna turn out crappy. It's more about your craftsmanship then the tool you use to cut it. I'd pick the jigsaw over the cut off wheel though.

Maybe I should just do cmc first, then fit tires to see if fender trimming is even needed.

 

First off, you're not at LBL ..... yet. Second, how do you know most of the people there will be good people? Third, I don't try and destroy people's dreams. I always wish people the best in being the greatest person they can be and striving for whatever dreams they have. I try hard to be a positive role model to the many children I enteract with everyday and attempt to carry that over to the adults as well. I tell my kids all the time "No one can make you do anything. You make your own decisions in life. Just remember, there are consequences to your actions, whether that be good or bad. No one can make you mad, sad, happy, etc .... only you can do that. Think positive, not negative."

Gimmicks.....Add on for "disposal fee" even though I'm taking my old tires with me. $50 per tire....$200 for NOTHING. "All inclusive price" + mounting and balancing and tax is NOT "all inclusive".

Local Walmart won't sell me 285's. They tell me they won't fit. Priced the Coopers there, but they won't install 'em.

Going to my old reliable tire shop on the way home. Now that I have a few prices so I know where to start bargaining at.

 

Buy off eBay. I got a good deal on mine and they shipped from Discount Tires Direct in Lexington and arrived in 2 days with free shipping.
