    We were "drifting" long before it was called drifting. Back then, we just called it driving like a maniac! Never thought it would become a legitimate sport!

    When I first got my drivers license, a very high percentage of country roads around here were still gravel. We went "rock roadin'n'it" about every day. Wouldn't take my Z28 on a gravel road, but my '72 Chevy Vega didn't have any paint left on the rear quarters..... Nothing quite like an underpowered 4 cylinder/4 speed with posi-trac rear end on a gravel road to make you feel like AJ Foyt! Vega's RULE!
