I should have been more specific. Which leaves are those? Expo's or Dakar's?

The lift only has like 7000 miles on it. I have the receipt where he bought it in June or July. He drove an average of 12,000 miles a year. It's in really good condition. The only reason I took it off is I had my icons and the Expos.

I might take the Dakar's if you end up splitting it up and the price is right.

Went up to my parents yesterday to open the pop up and see if it was still worthy. spent an hour or so changing out a tire with a busted bead, I am guessing its a mid 80s model. Was hoping to pull it down so I wouldnt have to tent-it. No dice, it has been sitting for 3 or 4 yrs, outside. Smelled worst than 2 bums having anal in a dumpster in late august. Mice had gotten in and just wrecked it. Did steal the stove and gas line off of it though. Thats a bonus, 3 burner stove, now I don't have to buy a camp stove :)

As I understand it, interchangeable in terms of they bolt up....NOT interchangeable in term of the same exact parts. Especially so with regards to front shocks/coils. There is a LOT of conflicting information out there. Bottom line, several of the manufacturers have parts (ie, shocks) specific to the 3rd gen.

Seems like 3rd gen front is heavier. 3" lifts were yielding 2" on 3rd gens.

Most (all?) of what I know about the subject is from anecdotal comments from other people who may or may not be so well informed. What I hear is the 3rd gens are an inch higher in the front from the get go. So....a 3" lift for a 2nd gen may only net 2" lift on a 3rd gen because of that 1" increase already built into the 3rd gen.

    Now I'm confused.....:der:
