Have some open space at my shop if you wanna tackle it, it's owned by my family so there shouldn't be an issue. Just throwing that out there

$380 from the dealer i was quoted a few months ago.

Shouldn't need to be replaced just refurbished in a sense.

That's for an OEM, Dorman is more than fine and its $200.

Up to you I guess. I hate nagging issues.

Just a little food for thought

It will be chilly this weekend in the evenings, and the fire is a community fire. Please bring plenty of wood so we can enjoy a nice large raging fire all weekend long. Bringing 2 of the store bought little bundles is not really enough if you are staying a couple of nights. I would like to see at a minimum 2 of those per person camping per night so we don't have to ration wood.

Prep your truck. If you haven't already thought about it, give it some thought. Offroading is bumpy and rattles everything loose. If you show up with a hand tight UCA/LCA/Shackle/Hanger/Spindle/etc bolt you are asking for problems. Take an hour before you roll out and make sure everything is nice and tight. Most of the breakdowns in the past had to do with nuts coming off or bolts shearing because they weren't torqued.

Also, we will have a very limited amount of change with us. The raffle tickets are $5 each and the shirts are $10 each. If you can bring smaller bills it would be appreciate (don't hand me a $100 bill for 1 raffle ticket).

Can't wait to see everyone again this year! Should be another amazing event!

Also, does anyone that will be there Saturday night have a big grill they can bring?

Charcoal for gas will work. We are providing a BBQ for everyone, but between the 3 of us organizers we do not have a grill that we can bring that would handle all that needs to be made.

Matt--I'm gonna check again on the big grill. I heard today they moved the party to next week.

I have a card table I was going to bring. But I'm pretty sure Manny normally brings a few tables with him.

    Manny?

I can bring two fold out tables, throw them in the bed. I'm taking the teardrop trailer so most of my gear will be riding in there for the drive out, leaving my back seat and bed empty around the cage and spare. Also bringing a generator and possibly some flood lights if I can dig them out. I will also have a full hand tool box if anybody needs anything, just don't have a welder or power tools.

As far as fire stuff goes, I'm bringing a 5ft Christmas tree, and some dried out wood I got laying around the shop.

anyone leaving from LA Friday evening. Like around 6pm?
my plus 1 flaked when he found out it was a 3.5 hour drive. Id rather caravan with at least one more person.
Is it sketch to go alone at night or is it a fairly easy drive up there?

Its pretty straight forward. The First 3 hrs are freeway and clearly marked because you are going to a town (Westmorland). Once you leave Westmorland its just getting on the pavement/dirt road, once on that road (labeled on google and GPS) just look for the imperial county used truck dealership (camp).

Pretty simple drive. All maintained roads until 50 yards from the camp. Plugged in the coordinates for the camp from LA.
