I'm still debating on bring my futon.

 

I think I will be tenting it with the heater on blast. I'm going primitive this year without bringing the RV.

 

futon is for sitting on the rack and watching camp.

 

it will also be a comfortable place to pass out if you don't happen to make it back to the excursion

Yea I got that cargo carrier and I'll just stuff everything else around and under the quads and fill up the access cab so I can't see out the back window lol.

 

Maybe we can all duct tape our plus one to the roof for extra storage capacity

Are wood pallets cool?

 

Pallets have nails, almost always a no-no

 

No wood pallets are not a good idea in any desert. The wood nails are horrible

 

only if you break them down and remove every single nail before you bring it to the desert.

 

Alllllll-righty then. Just a though cause they are free and easy to load up.

 

only takes a few minutes to break one down and then you can bundle the stacks for easier storage.
