5th Gear Vibration

For starters I just bought this truck used from rinky dink dealer. It’s a 2014 Extended Cab 2.7 5-Speed 4x4 Base Model gave way to much money but it’s my dream truck.

the issue that I am having is that when I shifting from 4th to 5th there is no grinding or indications that something is wrong with the transmission but it starts to get a odd vibration and almost drags the truck down it will build speed but the vibration drags it down almost.

It’s sounds like a roar/vibration. I have no idea where to look or where to start local mechanics are no help. Said if it ain’t grinding it’s fine.

I have no clue center beating has minor play. I have no idea.

Another weird thing is randomly in any gear it feel like the transmission slips like an automatic. Not possible I know but any insight on this would be helpful.

 

Ujoints and center bearing time is my bet. Welcome to TW! Check your parking brake cables aren’t busted, too.

 

What are my best options for replacement parts? Spicer ? Ebay special ? Lost here.
