This is not for my 1st gen Taco but the 5th 4runner. Yah, I know this is Taco land, but the answers and people here way better here than the 4runner forums!

I'm looking for a solution to hold AnyTone 878 HT and/or GMRS radio. The AnyTone is the heaviest at 12 Oz.

I don't want to drill holes in anyplace obvious. I've tried suckers on the dash and they are OK for a while. My thought is to use a windshield Ram Mount with something like the
    Universal Belt Clip Holder
    RAM(R) Universal Belt Clip Holder

or the Universal Finger-Grip holder; although this might activate the PPT Button?
RAM(R) Finger-Grip™ Composite Universal Mount with Suction Cup Base

Or maybe roll my own with the Universal Marine mount, then I can add a microphone clip and hang it along side.
    RAM(R) Universal Marine Electronic Ball

One last thought is a RAM Sticky ball or some sticky pads on/around the dash with a RAM ball sucker attached?

    Any experience or thoughts?
