Just scored me a 5vz-fe from a t100 but I was wondering if I will run into any issues running this motor in my 2001 Tacoma that currently has a 5vz-fe?

I noticed LC Engineering sells T100 specific water pumps and oil pumps so Im just hoping it will still install

I believe that T100 might have come with a rear sump oil pan, but I am not entirely sure. You would just have to swap oil pans if you taco is a 4x4, if my conjecture is true.

I would try to get a hold of a T100 FSM and Tacoma FSM to check to see if any of the engine parameters differ between the two models. I don't think it would, but I would just check.

Transfer your electronics from the Tacoma to the T100 engine

The T100 engine uses the old style MAF sensor so your going to want to use your air intake box as well

Yes as was stated the oil pans are different

Don't neglect presence or lack of oil cooler and EGR.
I would keep or install the oil cooler on the replacement engine. It will require the "oil cooler water pump".
