    G’day, new member here.
I’m from Australia, so I obviously don’t drive a Taco, but I thought I’d reach out anyway as there’s not much in the way of modified 5VZ’s down here.
    I have a 2000 Toyota Prado (95 series) with a 5vz, auto and full-time 4x4.
I recently somewhat finished turbocharging this thing and it’s been great so far. I have started a build thread here if you’d like to see how I did things.

I have a question about the intake manifold/plenum. I’m wondering if anyone has made a custom plenum with a forward facing throttle body, that just bolts down onto the bottom manifold. I have this idea of doing this to gain room, have a neater intake path, shorter intake runners etc, and maybe even incorporate a water to air intercooler, or use the intercooler as the plenum.
    Any input is appreciated! Cheers
