    For posterity, I solved my hesitation/hiccup. Turned out to be the TPS. I spotted it on the Ultragauge, the throttle range is typically ~8.5%-74%. Every so often I would see it flash to 1% or 5% for a split second then return to the correct reading; most of the times the engine would hesitate at that instant. I think a portion of the rheostat was worn as it would usually happen in the 18-28% range but not if I was driving WOT. Solved my problem, hopefully it'll help someone else.
