    OP, you may want to look into this as an option . 1uz's are easy to come across for 500 from pick and pulls . They are getting a lot of attention in the Drifting community, so aftermarket support is growing.

    i know the TRD SC made for the 2uz bolts to the 3uz as well.

    Yeah, I come from a different crowd them most on this forum. I used my Tacoma to tow my Surpa. I am playing catch up. Don't see why it wouldn't bolt to the 1uz in addition to the 2 and 3

    Lol i had an 87 supra man :cool: never shoulda sold it..

    and the intake manifold is different form the 1uz. its the same on the 2uz and 3uz

    i'll def keep you guys posted on the build. i need to get with the MD guys on some sweet locations to find the 4.7 iforce or 4.0 vvti. thanks for all the replies, and if you guys have any more ideas or comments i'm all ears.
