Did a couple pulls today ran good but not super fast, medium traction all through 1st no tire slip in 2nd and on. Should be a good mix of power and drivability

All that and you didn't blow the factory ring and pinion? lol

Just started following along. I might have missed it but why did you scrap making it 4x4? I know the stock pan is in the way but would a custom pan have cleared the front diff?

I was thinking a small shot of nitrous but it does it’s job well now, and my wife is not buying that it needs nitrous.... YET! Lol Just got the shifting corrected, anyone have any clue how to make the tach work? Pin 4 on connector 10 doesn’t work...

Hooked up ground brown wires to ground and ls ecm signal works on pin 4 of Tacoma gauges. Rpm and speedo are now correct. For some reason having a time getting coolant temp to work even with Toyota etc sender?

Didn’t use the welded pan, used a F body pan. Iron block 6.0. I’m using a champion 3 core radiator now. Stock radiator is good without towing anything, put around 100 miles on the 5.3 towing a lot of tires. Started overheating a bit so the new champion 3 core has held the temp under 195 with no fans running in normal driving, have not towed yet with the new radiator. Wiring is pretty basic actually. The only thing I need to get wired is the coolant temp sensor and tap in a yota sender. All other gauges work well

Might not be done, debating to put a jasper 5.3 or 6.0 in it. It’s just annoying how many used engines are crap lol

The first 5.3 made it 400 miles before it threw a rod, 6.0 never got out of the driveway
