Love a really good front soundstage. So I figure 300 to 400 up front. Suggestions??? Like JL Audio, Focal, always loved Boston Acoustics but they are gone. Will also be putting 6 1/2 coaxial speakers in the rear doors to match

Why are you putting in rears if you want a good front stage?

I went with (2) Pairs of Alpine SPR-60C Separates... See link in sig. Properly powered, they sound awesome.

I would take a hard look at Hybrid Audio Technologies (HAT). I'm doing the Clarus C61-2 up front and Mirus coaxials in the rear, this weekend. Mr. Marv speaker adapters. The Imagine and Unity 6.5" component sets from HAT are inline with your budget numbers.

FWIW, I had 6.5" Alpine type R components in my old Honda S2000 and they sounded great. Not sure they can be beat for the money.

Yeah I am not a Bass head, I like low smooth bass not that ghetto pounding garbage. How much are the front and rears? Every time I go on Hybrid I can't get prices and it wants me to fill out some form or something.

Unchained...I think retail is $630 for the Clarus set and $199 for the Mirus set.

Not trying to steal the thread, and this seems relevant, TacoSupreem... What amp are you using? I'm installing your speaker setup with an Alpine PDX-V9. My HU is an Alpine iLX-007 CarPlay unit. What speaker adapters did you use? I went with Mr. Marv's. I'm also having Mr. Marv build a sub box with a JL TW3 12". I'm really excited to get mine installed this weekend and hear how they sound. Sub will be a few weeks though.

BTW, I've always done my own installs over the years and probably done 30-40 installs for my own cars and friends and family. This is the first time I've spent what I consider big money on components (other than my boat which has Wet Sounds SW-650's also driven by a PDX-V9.) I hope it sounds exponentially better than a $200 set of speakers or I'm really going to be disappointed. I will be using a lot of acoustic dampening mat and hoping that helps as well.
