I found a 6' Topper on a 2000 Tacoma and I am wondering if it will fit on my 2007 Tacoma Double Cab long bed? The dimensions I found for the 2000 are slightly different than my 2007 but within 3/8" in either direction. I'm curious if anyone has done this before and how well it fit?

    Thanks

Welcome to TW! I'm sure someone on TW knows the answer.

What are the dimensions you found for both beds? What brand is the topper?

I have a Leer topper on my 2007 LB and I bet that I could wiggle 3/8" back to front or 3/8" left to right. Probably not both. My topper has been water tight.

Here is a picture of the topper I was looking at. It is a Ranger Rider. I have never even heard of this brand but it looks likes it's a canadian brand.

Thanks for your help. I'll continue my search for something that will actually fit. Anybody have a High Roof Topper for a 2nd Gen. Tacoma Double Cab Long Bed for sale?

One More Questions, I found a topper that is off a 2006 Extended cab. These are both 2nd Gen. now, is there any difference in the bed from an extended cab standard bed to a Double Cab long bed? From what I can find these should be the same. Is there any difference in the design of the back of the cab that would not allow this topper to fit?
