6 cyl Turbo Diesel

... ^^^... My old GF had a Tesla Model S - P100D and and the build quality was good and that thing was super fast, especially in ludicrous mode.

She could go about 275 miles on a charge max. ... but normally would only go 150 miles.

Going on a long trip ... you had to plan to charge at Tesla charging stations because they were so much faster to charge.

A pure battery car is not on my menu until batteries get better with a longer range. I do really like the Prius concept though.

 

Would make more sense for Tacoma to receive Fuel Cell technology.

Range. Torque. Efficiency. Shits out water. Everyone loves trucks again.

I just read this article about stricter fuel economy standards in the US phasing in from 2016-2025 that may push Toyota to introduce more turbo engines, including perhaps a turbo-diesel for tacoma/tundra.
