Just installed them on my tacoma. Just a little unsure how I feel about them. Helps fill the void behind my knees while not really feeling much taller. Gap from leg to steering wheels seems pretty damn close to what it was before.

Just curious how other tall guys are liking these?

I’m 6’1” and I got rid of mine. They made driving very uncomfortable for me.

My son is 6'2 and wants to try them. He just drove from Boston to Ohio for college and says after 12 hrs of driving his legs did hurt a bit. We'll see after semester break. He can always take them out if he doesn't like em.. Have a great nite.

I would be inclined to try a cheaper solution until I saw evidence that changing my seating position was going to increase my comfort. Maybe toss a pillow on the seat, put some washers under the seat mount, or something like that.

Oh man no idea lol. I just tilted the back of my seat forward so that wasn’t an issue for me.

That just sounds silly. In most cases it’s seating position that causes discomfort. That’s why there’s adjustments on your seat. Otherwise we’d go back to old school bench seats.

The spacers are supposed to lift the front of the seat up, bringing your legs to a more ideal position and hopefully not be in any discomfort for a long trip. Weather it be lower back or legs.

My lower back was hurting on short drives which is why I’m trying these out.

The Desert Does It seat jackers (front only) were a giant improvement for me.

The (frankly quite amazing) lack of thigh support was my issue, it felt like my body was being supported only by my heels and the bones in my butt. This seemed to keep some muscles constantly engaged that are normally relaxed when driving.

I could drive for about an hour before starting to ache, I was constantly shifting around trying to ease the discomfort. I have driven almost 700 miles in one day comfortably now.

6’3” I put them on the front of the seat and really like the change in seating position. I still would rather buy a powered seat from a 20+ so that my 5’1” wife would have more seat adjustment.

That is my issue too, the seat has zero thigh support, I can literally fit my fist between the bottom of my thighs and the seat.

Even with powered seats I didnt have enough adjustment.
Have the seatjackers installed not with the electric seat fully lowered.

Have you tried the seat jackers yet?

I consider myself of pretty average proportions for the Tacoma buyer demographic, it doesn't seem unreasonable that a 5'11" guy should expect to be comfortable driving the most popular mid size truck in the US.

My old XJ Cherokees had more comfortable seats and a better driving position than a truck built 20 years later.:confused:

They are definitely on my mod list; my car is a 1992 and has infinitely more comfortable seats (minus the heat function).

The ones from Desert Does It are beautifully (US) made, over the top quality.
