So im completely new to this page but have been viewing alot of info for my 07 tacoma, its the quad cab trd offroad with the 4.0. I just picked it up 2 weeks ago so I plan on puttin a 6in lift in it when I sell my 03 tacoma. Ive also read about regearing it if I wanna roll on 35s which is my plan but not sure for which gears. So my question is what lift to get for a decent price. rouch country will be $1000 so thats not too bad but I dont know how they ride. Just lookin for some opinions for a smooth riding lift but somethin I take offroad as well. Thanks guys.

There's been a lot of questions about this. More often than not, people will advise against a 6" lift.

May want to clarify what you might want to do with your truck after you lift it. Is this for looks/clear 35s or for more suspension performance? As greeneggs said, many don't prefer a drop bracket as they have limited benefits outside of height.

If it is for looks just get you abrough country and throw in some 4.88 gears and you'll be fine. There's a lot of mixed reviews on rough country some say it's good some say it's bad. Most say "you get what you pay for" Just do some researching on the forum, easier if you type in your rough country tacomaworld on google then you'll find a lot of your answers

OP for what you are wanting to use your truck for look into the Procomp or Fabtech lift. I had a 4in Procomp on my 99 Tacoma and it road great . Just my .02 cents .
