Man I kept reading DB and thinking douche bag, but I just figured out what it meant  but in Hawaii they go to like 20+ inches so 9 inch is nothing.

Holy crap, that is alot to do for a body lift. It seems the 2" is almost as bad as the 3". Didnt think i would have to do that many adjustments and checks. Ima have to look into this more to see the exact differences of the two. But thanks that link was very helpful

Now only if we can get a manual together on what it takes to swap in a V8 we could curb all the threads asking about that idea.

Sure thing man. I've been running a 2" RB body lift for 7 years, and have done some serious rock crawling. Worst case scenario, I hit an unexpected culvert on a dirt road at high speed, launched in the air...came down so hard I bent the front diff mounts, screwed up a bunch of stuff. But the body lift has never moved, shifted, sagged, or given me any problems. I always thought I would regret a body lift, but I never have.

Most of you guys are a pile of dicks! Why even comment on this dude's thread if your just going to talk shit? I am sure there is stuff you do that others think is ridiculous.

Dude wants a 20" body lift? Let him, it's NOT your problem. Read the TOS!!!'

    /end rant

Wow... I'm sure glad to see how helpful all those TW members are being towards response to your question. It's a good thing we've got guys like Spindleshanks and ST3VE to at least keep this place reputable.

The body lift will not tie into affecting anything with the drop bracket suspension lift. You will have to drop the radiator back down, extend both your shifter sticks, and extend your steering column (which most kits will come with the extender). And depending on how high you decide to go, you may have to get extended brake lines, etc. Also, some body lifts will come with bumper relocation brackets so you don't have that annoying gap in between the body and bumper. I have the FabTech 6" with 3" body lift and I'm in need of extending my brake lines before doing any intense off-roading. I have had no issues with both the lifts (rides smooth, feels solid, and I'm up where I wanna be ;) ). If you've got any questions about the install, let me know as I've done them both.
Anywho, props to you for doing your own thing. Keep wrenchin!
