i vote for a 4.5 RCD with a small lift ontop of that for more clearance!

i say total chaos if you do go the 2+ route, i have heard of many people having problems with axles with the AP 2+ lot.

are you selling so you can get a 4wd?

Just a bunch of old crap
One of the best guys on here. I really like the clearance he has though. He wheels it pretty good and it does great. He's such a perfectionist and I know if he's happy it must be good. He knows his stuff.

TC +2 is def on my radar. I'm looking into RCD but their website is down right now. Boxing in the rear depends on which kit I go with. Yeah I'm selling the pre-runner to get a 4x4. I've been reading about BDS lifts as of lately. Seems like a good setup with the remote res fox shocks.

Agreed, he welded my frame mount tabs last time we got together. I'm gonna have to get together with him soon before I buy. I may have the truck way before I decide what route I wanna go. I wouldn't mind gettn us all together for a few beers while you guys convince me of what is gonna work best.

Really. Other than balln, what are your thoughts on it? I spent an hour and a half on the phone with BDS today. They have amazing product knowledge and customer service. Not sure about that block on the rear versus a full leaf pack.

the fact it comes with fox's specific for our trucks, and fox's for the rear is awesome, not to mention a hefty 1/4" skid which is one draw back to the DB lifts, they don't have skids. Blacktacoma23 is a buddy of mine and absolutely loves his kit, i bet if i had that kid first time around i would not have wanted to switch, well maybe i can't really say that lol

Everything off of the 2wd is for sale. Just have not posted yet. I may keep a few things depending in the kit I choose.

6" BDS DB, 37", Dirt King, Total chaos UCA's w/ Heims, Fox c/o's, 4-banger fenders, 37" Nittos, 4.88 w/ rear ARB, AP Expos, 17x9 Method beadlocks, cab mount relocation, "Insain fab" tub, 5% tint, 10" Rockford Fosgates, Magnaflow 18" custom catback exhaust, AFE intake, Trail Gear bumper, Crown brake lines F/R
    Hola!

I bumped up from a 3" lift to the 6" BDS like Pat said and love it!
I did lose some clearance up front but I knew that going in (hopefully make up for it later with 37's)

    Get new UCA's too

Last thing I can add is If you live in AZ a LT kit might outweigh a DB for the style of offroading you do:notsure:

I'm leaning toward the 6 inch based on what I use it for. I have total chaos ucas right now that I plan on using on the new one. I'm just trying to figure out wheel tire packages and clearance issues with trimming for 35's. what did your kit cost you? I'm just tying to gauge my budget.

Holy shit..37's I wanna see that!!! What's the timeline for that? How are you gonna stuff those in there? Also curios about your build. You added front fenders. Did that make a big difference? I'm trying to learn as much as I can about BDS and there is little information compared to other manufacturers.

    Thanks man
Next time I make it home to colorado ill have to buy you a beer.
