the reason to stay away from 33s is ground clearance. If you plan on wheeling your truck, you will hate the low crossmember with 33s, Im trying to find a way to fit 37s right now for this reason.

If i were you I would either run 35s, or fit 33s with a 3" lift.. it is possible

HMMM, how much trimming did you have to do to fit the 35's?

Oh, and i'm not going to hard core wheel it, so ground clearance doesnt seem to be that big of a deal. The places I go here I can do just fine with a 3 inch and 32's

I went the longest time with no trimming, however i did end up chopping my body mount due to minor rubbing at full crank and stuff

a couple guys actually fit 35s on 3"

Dang, kinda curious what that would look like. The main reason I am wanting to go with a 6 inch lift is because all the 2ng gens around this town have the same lift and look that I have now. I love the look of SuperD's truck, It is stilla ll up in the air on tire size.

my biggest complaint with these new tacomas is the placement of the front wheels.. the whole suspension needs to be moved about 2" forward. That would solve all of our problems with tire fitment. The way they sit in the back of the wheel well is a huge mis-judgement IMO...

It would be nice if one of the aftermarket companies would design a control arm kit that pushed the wheels this 2" further forward.

If allpro had designed there kit to do this it would be on my truck right now

I kinda noticed the same thing. I thought they sat pretty far back too. Is that your truck before the all pro bumper?

maan ok, im rockin the 20" chrome rims, but someone tell me what to do. 33" tires with a 3" lift? or 35" tires with a 6" lift. if you can tell me how much different those would be in price i would appreciate it.
