Lets just have a little chat. There is no intent to DUI, its a strict liability crime. If keys are in the ignition, actual physical control of the vehicle can be proven. DUI can also be enforced on private property, unlike speeding.

Shouldn't you take your own advice here and be responsible for you actions? Your self admitted DUI driving. Scientifically it has been proven that 2 beers puts your BAC level in the .06 area. And it takes one hour to metabolize that beer. So if you have two beers back to back, you won't back to .00 until two hours later. That's science. You can bitch, moan, complain, say two beers doesn't affect you whatever, you're denying scientifically proven fact.

Facts don't lie. It's also science that you will have HGN when you consume alcohol. That is a fact that is taken into consideration when administering field sobriety testing.

You choose to drink and drive, that's fine. There are science based facts out there that will hem you up when you get caught. There are observations of driving that will be used against you. And, depending on the laws of your state, based on driving actions and whether you refuse chemical testing, you can be arrested and taken to jail.

Your statements in this thread are ridiculous and stupid. You are arrogant and will be caught because of your stupidity.

And the fact that DUI can be enforced on private property, this law is there to help save peoples lives, and also...laws are not enforced on ignorant or poor, you're a fool if you think that. Laws are enforced on the populous, because laws apply to everyone, a good police work and evidence collection will always results in positive enforcement on the law breaker, rich, poor, ignorant or smart.

yup- he is the kind of vermin who wiggles his way around in life even though how criminally insane it is on what he is doing. The way he answered the sane people in here is appalling and arrogant. A cancer to society and totally insane- an accident waiting to happen!

You're right about the single drink, but it's rarely a factor. Around my area I'm constantly bombarded by shitty drivers that are probably sober, yet a bigger threat than most mildly drunk good drivers would be.

As for the phone, holding the phone generally increases it's distractive impact. The mind generally will be distracted more because the act of holding something puts one's thought toward it, the conversation adds to that. I assume it's opposite for me only because I've been doing it for 20 years my way so having the hands-free is actually more distracting. I spend a lot of time on the phone and have had no issues from it other than being pulled over, but I didn't care to have awareness to that. I used to pay attention to cops and hide the phone, now I just ignore their presence.

No puffing about LEO friends, I made the statement because someone questioned it. No machismo and no barriers; most commentary aimed at me has been inflammatory, derogatory, and/or poorly written and much of it based on assumption.

Since very few, if any, seem to be gaining anything from this exchange I'll bow out and reserve my thoughts and opinions to threads where I can actually be of help. I did learn not to impose my thoughts where they weren't requested, my sincere apologies and I'm out of this one for good.

It's funny - Folks who get evaluation from outside sources and then say "No..That's not what that was" are usually wrong...

There is a kids song that says "When the whole world is wrong and you are the one who's right it's time to go to sleep." Bowing out is something you should have done a long time ago....and rethinking your habits should also be on your to-do list.
