What is the gas mileage that you guys are getting with a 5 or 6" lift and 35" tires. I'm wantin to get one eventually, but don't wanna get into the low double digits in my gas mileage.

Without re-gearing your gonna get around 12-13mpg.

How much does re-gearing cost? Would I get much better gas mileage if I ran like a 3" lift and 33" tires?

if you do that your mileage will only change by a couple miles per gallon

Alright. I could probably get back to stock mpg if I put an exhaust on, cold air intake, removed the secondary air filter, etc.

Unless that intake makes some great difference I don't think so. My gas mileage did not change when I took out the secondary filter or put on a Borla exhaust.

Thats a big truck. But, I will be driving this truck daily, and need something somewhat gas affordable. I can go down no less than 15 mpg.

i have a 6 inch lift w/ 33's. Average gas mileage is right at 15 mpg. Truck is in the shop as we spaek getting 4.10's put in. Hope it improves the mpg, it really needed to be re-geared though.

Next will be the CAI and exhaust system if i don't get any improvments with the gears (that is getting at least a 1-2 mpg gain)

I'm lucky if I get 17's with my 32 bfg at's. Here in Hawaii there are so much hills and steep grades. I heard in the mainland the roads are mostly flat and straight so a lot of people are easily 20. You guys are so lucky!

I have a 6'' and 35's. I used to get about 14 mpg's but I have since put on a K&N Intake and an exhaust and I get 15-16. My speedo is still about 11% off but I just do the math when I calculate my mpg's. I dont know how some guys are getting as low as 11!? I'm not one to drive like a granny either....

Are you adjusting for the precentage that your speedo is off? My gps shows I am 10% off. So if I go 250 miles and use 18 gallons of gas that would be 13.88. You have to adjust by adding 10% more miles. So 275 at 18 gallons equals 15.27! That was a little in-depth but oh well.

    wow man
lay off the skinny pedal! jk
    3" lift, 285's and i can still pull 17 w/mixed driving.
i don't lay into it too much. unless i am kidding around or trying to make a yellow/red light.
maybe reset your comp? clean or replace the air filter? something doesn't add up man.

hmmm maybe i just need to do better math so just add 10% to my miles and then divide right?
