    Hey guys,

So Iv'e decided to go with a 6 inch BDS lift with rear fox shocks on my 2014 off road pre runner. With that said, I read a few threads on here about the necessary wheel sizes.

I was dead set on a 285/75r16 wheel but I think I may have to run a 285/75r17 instead due to clearance WITHOUT spacers. Any thoughts?

Also, a buddy of mine said anything above 285 would more than likely require a tranny re-gearing as my truck will bog. Any thoughts?

Yup.....without spacers, the 6" kits require a 17" or 18" wheel to clear the flipped tie rod ends.

As for regearing, mine pulls the same with 285/75/16 vs 315/75/16......and gas mileage is almost the same also.
