6" lift is taller than a 2.5" lift

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
The Icon 2.5 Coilovers arent referring to a 2.5" lift. They are 2.5" wide shock bodies.

The amount of lift you get is a result of how far you turn the adjustable collar down on the spring, introducing preload for lift.

These shocks are designed for a drop bracket 6" lift kit. Kits which normally include a top spacer. You'll notice the OPs pictures, the lower section of the coilovers is MUCH longer than a standard coilover. This coilovers allows you to use one single unit, instead of a standard coilovers and a spacer.

If you want a 2.5" lift, these are NOT the coilovers for you. Look into Icon's standard 2.5" coilovers.
