Actually, with the 6'' lift and VSC, you can't run 16's at all even with spacers. (correct me if I'm wrong)

    VSC? what? I don't see how a 6" will restrict 16's.

on a 2nd gen. mainly a 2010 i know about but you have to run 18's with a 6 inch lift because of your steering. over time it will snap. happened to a bud of mine one his 09 but i may be wrong. i am getting my 6 inch lift soon and i am going with 18 to be safe

Fabtech Lift on top of 3 inch body lift. 34s trail grapplers on 18inch eagle alloys. KRFab Rear bumper, BHLM with HIDs, TRD seat covers, Hood scoop, N fab tire carrier, black valence, TRD intake, 40s Flowmasters, Foglight mod, best for last and thats my 4.56 gears, and much more too come.
Heres mine with a 6inch lift i had 16s 285s on spidertrax 1.25 spacers. Moved up to 18s and 35s now oh and its a fabtech lift[IMG]

Its not the VSC always, You need the larger rims for the VSC, correct but also the tie rods are flipped causing contact on the rims if its not properly backspaced/spacers

So to clarify my current tire setup is 285/75/16 on the stock 16" rims. I also already own 1.25" spidertracs. Does anyone know if i can run that rim setup with a 6" lift?
