I just got one a few weeks ago and I love it. It fits my hand way better and is just way more comfortable, the only thing is you have to teflon tape the threads before putting it on because it will rattle a bit. I know there is a guy on xr-underground that makes weighted and non weighted ball style knobs as well. They are a little more pricey, but you can get custom logos on them.

I have the TRD shift knob, I tightened mine down with the nut provided and haven't had issues with rattle yet. I'm happy with it.

    Just the 5 speed...
The same shortened stock shift lever with a 1960's style Hurst Cueball shift knob that was on my 1996 Tacoma for 17 years fit perfectly on my 2012. :)

No shift lever feels as good as a Cueball.

Nice! I've been tempted, how is thrice ball in the winter? I hate ice cold shifters!
