Is there a way to mate late model tacoma 6 speed manual trans w/ transfer case to the 2RZ-FE engine in my 2000 tacoma 4x4 ?? Or will I need an engine to trans adapter ?? Or will another Aisin 6 speed with transfer case work ??

You have the W59 transmission. There is no easy bolt up to mate any 6 speed to your 2rz. You can't even bolt up the r150 to it.

    No pre-made adapter kit either

Make an adapter Using two new Bellhousing`s is much easier then old and corroded weathered ones

    Get the correct clutch

Adjust cross members and Transmission brackets and driveshafts to work .

It all comes down to how bad you want to do this .

How much Fabrication you can handle yourself.

    It can get expensive !!

More trouble that it’s worth. You’ll need to machine yourself a bellhousing adapter amongst other things.

I don’t think the 2RZ has enough power to justify a 6 speed either.

Your Hilux has the 2RZ? Thought y’all got the Diesels. I think it’s the 1KZ?

My '03 Hilux was built in Colombia and came with a 2RZ-FE. Diesel Hiluxes weren't available here until 2009.
