Now that I think of it, they are a heck of a lot of cups holders in our trucks. Two in each door, three in from middle, and two in the rear middle. Would be cool to have an alternative. Something for storage perhaps?

as stated above, I never ever use it for its intended purpose... I fill it up with misc. items and it looks messy.

The center holder is the only place you can put a full size Nalgene water bottle!

That actually is a plus. I use mine a lot when I'm using a Klean Kanteen or Nalgene.

personally, I almost never eat or drink in the truck, only maybe on long trips and then I drink out of things with a screw on cap to prevent spills.

you did a great job of painting yours, tons better than the plasti dip I did on mine... maybe I'll redo it, might make it more acceptable at least... for now until I can find something better.

I use Krylon Fusion. It's still holding up like a champ. Just make sure you do the proper prep and you'll be fine. I sanded all the original paint off before I painted it.

That fusion stuff is sweet too because it's made for plastics and bonds with it. Also dries in 15 minutes and cures in like 2 hours. I love the stuff. Use it all the time.

I wouldn't miss mine if it was gone. I have Molle behind my seat with a huge beverage holder anyway.
