6 speed manual

Hey guys feels good to be back on Tacoma world I have ordered my 4th Tacoma and will be here in a couple weeks I went with the manual cause I still think the auto sucks and hunts gears are the 2022 still doing that because my wife can’t drive a manual but she can always learn lol. Just seeing if any of u have the 6 speed manual and what u think about them

Teach her. My gf has been learning on my taco and doing great.

 

Well just got my truck here one week ago today she has not got to jump in the drivers seat to start learning but I have let her change the gears for me while I drive to get a feel for it

 

Ya that's a good way to take the multitasking pressure off her when she starts driving for real.

 

Holy smokes that's pretty quick being able to get a 6MT offroad that quickly!

I've been waiting since January.

 

Buy a short shifter, you’ll thank me later. I’ve had 2 different ones in my truck with the Hurst core shifter being the current one. It makes driving these trucks even better. I do have a 2nd gen however, but I’ve been told the 3rd gens have just as long throws as my truck. Do it. You’ll love it. It is also a very easy install.
