    Hello 3rd Gen. members! Name's Mark from the East Bay Area, CA.
    Looking to do a 6" lift with 35s on 17s or 18s. Any inputs on some good suspension lift brands, shops around my area and estimated total cost would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Mostly for looks, and have that "worry-free feeling" driving on all road conditions.

    You actually don't gain more ground clearance over a 3 inch lift.

    You actually do get more ground clearance. Its not so much as the lift kit but more on the tires. A 6" lift will clear a 35" tires as oppose to a 4" or lower lift kit.

    No 6'' lift is worry free. bahahahaha. BDS makes good drop bracket options if you insist on said lift.

    one of the huge problems running a 35 is the width and rubbing on suspension and cab mounts.
    lift won't do anything for those
    Only:sawzall::welder:

    worry free driving? is it that hard to just watch out for curbs at the mall?
    the ride comfort will likely be terrible with a 6inch lift.
    and the amount of mods needed to do so is $$$$$

    So wet pavement, hot pavement and the rare chilly pavement! Gotta have the TRD OR 4x4 to cover all that...

    I have been looking at bds but the cheapest 6" lift kit they have is priced at 1800+ as oppose to Zone Off Road 6" lift kit for 1250 which is a lift kit i am currently leaning onto. Looking for the best bang on my hard earned money.

    You wont get much love here for 6'' lifted mall crawlers. Just being honest.
