    I am 5'11" but these trucks have an insanely large amount of leg room, seems like they were made so NBA players could drive them. In the passenger seat, I can recline back, stretch my legs out and not even touch the firewall. Sucks I am never the guy that gets to ride shotgun and sleep on road trips, looks comfy over there!

    my Tacoma is very comfortable...

    I bet there's more room behind the drivers seat in mine though. :laugh:

    Thanks everyone, really helped with the decsion, ill definitly have to check out the rear veiw mirror bracket though

    At 6"1" and 210lbs, I'm pretty comfortable in my '13 dbl cab. I agree that the steering wheel doesn't telescope enough though as the seat is all the way back to the stops. My son can't fit in the backseat either if he tries to sit behind me, he has to hope my passenger moves their seat forward so he can have legroom behind them.

    6'5 225, no issues for me. I have a 3 inch lift on my truck and the height is perfect! I can slide right in and out of the truck without any issues.

    6-4, 260ish, quite comfortable for me. No way anyone can sit behind me in DC unless they are legless tho. Mirror has been raised. Only issue I have now after coming from F250's is the slope of the A pillar/roof line. I find my vision is blocked when looking out side windows a little. Same for being at the stop line at a traffic signal, I usually just look for the reflection in the hood instead of bending down to see the the signal....

    My father in law has a newish F150 and what an uncomfortable piece of shit.

    I'm 6'4" and have my complaints about the Tacoma (seat doesn't tilt, steering wheel doesn't telescope enough) - but it is far more comfortable.

    I had 1983...1997...2002 F-150's, all very comfortable.

    I also had a 2010, very unconfortable.

    20% tint to match the back, immryo rear view mirror adjustment, 3" suspention lift, black front valance, wheels in the market.
    Seriously this bracket made the view open up 100% ImMrYo on this forum will hook you up. I'm 6'4 and haven't had problems since I got the small rearview mirror bracket.

    6'3", 205 here and it's perfectly comfortable.
    Actually more "headroom" behind the steering wheel than my '95 Suburban.

    I could not hold a drink between my thighs in the Chevy, but the Taco is plenty roomy.

    I actually have the seat a couple of "clicks" forward... enough room to stow a notebook computer in a travel case behind the seat.

    Im 6'7, and the mirror would be the only issue i could find, but its not hard to look around. Comfortable drive. wouldn't recommend long trips in the back seat though.

    These threads come up a fair amount.

    One thing I want to point out is it's not just how tall you are, but how big overall including weight.

    If you have a thick trunk - you're as likely (or more likely) than a tall guy to need the seat slid back.

    6'3" 190 lbs & no problems in my AC, seat is 3 notches from all the way back. With a 3" lift & 33" tires it's easy to get in & out of.
    I had 3 PreTacos that were 2wd Reg Cabs & they were kind of cramped.

    And these trucks (and many modern Toyotas in general) seem to be designed around the "thicker" American.

    In my '95 Suburban, and even my '03 Tundra, with the seat all the way back, I was totally comfortable. The wheel on the Suburban was actually a bit close.
    '94 Toyota PU was fine, '93 Blazer was fine, wife's '00 Echo and '04 Rav4 were fine.
    Got an '08 4-Runner as a company car, and now the '08 Tacoma.
    With the seat back enough for a "very nice" feel on my legs, I have to reach uncomfortably far for the wheel and have to lean forward to operate the AC/dash controls.
