Great video explanation, I’ve experienced the tail-heavy weight distribution and it can be terrifying.

Yea that is a really good yet simple clip that gets the point across. And oh yea it’s never fun when the tail wags the dog

Yea me and my dad moved a 40’ shipping container with a 26’ trailer. We got it done but it wasn’t the prettiest

    The trailer didn’t have brakes?

    EDIT:
Guess it doesn’t matter if you don’t have a controller...

oh but didnt you know these trucks are towing monsters! At least according to 90% of the dudes who tow at or above the limit on this site. Im glad someone realizes the Taco isnt meant to tow more than a tiny trailer downhill with a tail wind

Probably more than that. That’s a cord of wet oak and an wood splitter up front.

I get that this is a public website with public forums but this is a pretty cool build thread....
No need to reply to every post and spam the OP's very organized and clean thread....

My neighbor has this thing for sale it's 3.5x4' been wondering if I should buy it or not. This build gives me inspiration. My only concern is the tub is fiberglass. What are your thoughts if I can get it for a good deal?

It’s a little small, but looks like a good start. Motorcycle trailer?

It's a luggage trailer from what appears to be the 80's/90's it might be 4x5 haven't been interested in it enough to check. What issues will I run into with fiberglass as the tub.
