Over priced .... How is it worth 50k? Wow the in interior ... I'm sorry but I'm not sure get 50k value out of an interior of a vehicle ... Most vehicles of any make or model are way more expensive the value they provide.

He’s coming from a 14 4Runner, I’m sure shiny new fancy blinded him to what most of us are saying on price and build quality.

You are right on some points i dont disagree, there are some changes that we shouldnt have to replace.
When i sat in truck behind the wheel it felt bigger then my 4runner, i didnt sit in the back and if you say its smaller then 4 runner im sure it is, i dont transport people, the backseat would be for my fly fishing gear, untill i put cover on the bed, other occasions my pittbull would have backseat to himself[185lbs ] big boy,
The pros and cons are always going to be ongoing based off of individual needs or likes, i personally really liked the new truck, my 4 runner has been bullit proof 200,000 miles of joy,but im getting back to a taco,no need for SUV.
Hopefully everyone finds the truck to meet our expectations,im going to cross my fingers with the new gen

I once had a 135lb. Akita-Ridgeback."Mike The Dog', can't imagine 185lb. dog. You must use a snow shovel to pick up after him!

There were 2 TRD OR Tacomas parked at the I-10 dealer I go to. They were there about 3-4 weeks & then were gone. I had taken pics of the window stickers to post here. I asked the guy if they sold them, he said yes. A few days later, I drove by the Toyota dealer in Cathedral City & they were parked there. Playing inventory games. Neither of those trucks showed up on their online stock inventory. Looks like they are selling but maybe not.

They are standard. It's a big sore with most of us. If it was like a $895 option or something like that I would have actually considered not passing on the 3 I've been offered at or slightly below MSRP as to me its the best looking trim of the transformer gen.

A little under 25K on dealer lot inventory right now. About 1.4 months of inventory. They are selling, just not as fast as some would like.

Got the Pro in Terra. Haven't really played with the seat adjustments yet, but it looks like they only take up an extra 2-3 inches from the rear legroom. Granted, back there every inch count, but they are cool looking if nothing else:). I believe Toyota is known for not having superfluous stuff on their vehicles. so maybe they're not so useless.

Oh but they have and do, an example of "superfluous" or useless stuff would be the desert snorkel they shoved on 3rd gen pros, no one wanted them they were basically pointless and sat on dealer lots.

I'm wondering what the price is on one of those front fenders that have the provison for the snorkel.

I'm sure you saw the comms radio mounted to the molle panel, that's probably the best use for that. Most people probably won't use that panel, and it's not adding a lot to the price. I say that's superfluous.

Having seen the radio mounted there, and the JBL portable speaker. How cool would it have been for Toyota to make spot in/on the dash for a radio? Not that I want to pay for that.

Owners aren’t complaining about a lack of power. We’ll know by 2030 how reliable it is.

If you want a v6, get the Tundra.

If Toyota had a gen4 option with the gen3 v6 I’d still take the turbo 4.
