Agree. Frame first, then take it from there. 60 MPH impact? That frame would have issues, tweak city.

Any chance you can find a front end clip at a junk yard (truck that was hit in the rear or where something fell on the cab to total it) so you can strip off the suspension components and replace pretty much all of the potential issues (upper and lower control arms, spindles, struts, steering related parts, etc...)?

Unfortunately insurance didn't respond like It was suppose to. I didn't want to go through all the hassle cause they were firm with their position that truck didn't have any mayor problems (even with the quote I showed them from toyota that all suspension parts needed to be replaced) and just wanted my truck fixed, so that's why I cut them. Yeah, it's actually really been a nightmare.

like already mentioned, get it on a frame rack before you start throwing parts at it.

Hard to believe, but true. I would've expected for at least a roll over, but there are several factors that I think avoided it. I had weight in the cargo, both side wheels absorbed impact, curb height was pretty high and most importantly it has a wheel to wheel step bar installed. As far as suspension parts, I'm pretty sure that not only is the LCA bent. I will know once I start changing parts. I didn't mention it, but wheel bearing is a little bad, but not enough to worry about.

Safe to say these trucks are tough

The hard steering while parking leads me to believe you busted the rack and pinion and have no, to very little power steering. At higher speeds the steering feels normal for the most parts because it's easier to turn a rolling tire.
My rack broke and these were the exact symptoms, including the truck sagging a inch or more (never took measurements after). Power steering fluid was good despite the boots being wet looking.

Good luck, there’s so many things that could be out wack by just a little bit, maybe the frame shop is what the doctor ordered.

Toyota hires parts replacers not mechanics. Of course they are going to tell you to throw parts at it until it is sorted out. The correct way to approach this is to start by putting it on an alignment rack. That is where you will see what is bent and what needs to be replaced. I wouldn't replace the LCA just for the hell of it. I would need to see camber/caster way off before I would do that. As for the hard steering, it could be the rack, it could be the tie rod, it could just be in your head. Hard to say. I would start by taking your truck to someone that specializes in steering and suspension. Let them take a look.

The way you describe the tires in relation to your fenders makes me think bent frame and of course suspension damage. You really need to get it on a rack and have someone knowledgeable examine it. Maybe axle damage too in the rear if the back tire hit. I did something similar in another truck and had those issues.

This ^^^ what insurance company said you don't have damage and how exactly do you "cut them " and then decide to pay for your own repairs.
Hitting a curb in a neighborhood at 60 sounded weird but OP, you might be either the Troll of the year winner or we are missing pieces of the puzzle. Mexico not withstanding it just doesn't add up.

You didn't cut them, they cut you. They told you to go take a flying leap for reasons we're not seeing.

Crashing your truck is a surefire way to prevent anybody from wanting to steal it and this sounds more like a case of BANDITOS than THUGS:anonymous: On a real note this is a bummer, glad you're safe and still have your truck. Good luck I hope you get it sorted out.

I'm still sittin here thinkin this. 60mph + sideways + curb, does not = minor scuffs, unless I'm missing the candlestick in this game of TW clue

After the 10th ignored call they send "representatives" to reach you
