Thanks folks. I'm trying to set up a hands-on meeting before the auction ends. Fingers crossed.

    Morning all:
Welcome Joe, just watch out for that loose board on the porch that no one wants to fix, and it's your turn to fill the cooler!

I posted the pic. because of the SOHC 427 Ford motor, very rare motor. I remember seeing them advertised as crate motors for $10k, and that was a long time ago. I did see parts from one out at Carlisle, but never a complete motor.

    Morning All:hattip:.

Welcome aboard Joe . Great group of people on the porch. A few youngsters stop in from time to time to check on us . All is good.

I am trying to decide if Carl and Mark stay up very late or get up quite early based on the time of their recent posts.

Why didn't I think of that? My bladder alarm wakes me up a couple of times each night but I usually do not make a post on TW before returning to bed.

After 26 years in the Army, my internal clock is set for about 4AM. Doesn't matter what time I go to bed, the brain switches on about that time. And, just to reinforce it, my dogs are also now on the feeding schedule. On the off day that I sleep until 4:30, my yellow lab will give me a hard push in the back with her paw to get my attention.

3 years left for me until I pull pitch and retire completely - then I can try to sleep in until 5!!

BOTH! Sometime very late fishing for walleyes, or very early for hunting turkeys, both could be somewhere between 3:00 AM-6:00AM. Will be on the lake tonight starting at around 11:45 PM, how long depends on if the walleyes started hitting or not!
Definitely need to take a nap this afternoon!

:woot: Jim just called, early start tonight. He started at 2:00, so he gets out at 10:00, 10:45 start instead of 11:45!

:anonymous: Ok, fine, I'll fix it.......... bam, bam, bam, nails mashed down on new deck boards. Hold your nose - slosh, slosh, wipe, wipe, wipe. Deck is stained to match the old... well, ok, almost matches... needs to weather a little. Deck is safe!!!!

    Evening all:
Are you kidding me, here's another one! This one's for sale for only $59,950.
Both these popped up on the puter when I open it up, what are the odds of seeing 2 of these motors in two days. This one supposedly was never installed in a vehicle and was only started on the stand from new. Bet that makes some sweet music when fired up!

I knew we could count on you Sue, finally that loose board is fixed, while you are at it the top step is loose and the railing could use some work also! :D
