Ken, that is just a reminder why Snowbirds come down here in the winter and go home in the spring.

Leisure suits? Platform shoes? Never went there. Although I did have a pair of rose-colored glasses; they set off my moustache and gold chain really well.

Hi Susan, Carl . Hows the finger doing Sue? getting better I hope. Every day's a Saturday is what got me in a world of trouble with the missus when I retired the FIRST time(key word being first). After telling her every days a Saturday as she was getting ready for work, she threatened me with much bodily harm:eek: if I didn't get another job:rolleyes:. The woman has no sense of humor:facepalm:.

Yea I'm wondering what's gonna happen if I retire and Carol is a few years younger.
She goes to work, I go fishing.

That is my situation. I end up doing the laundry, house cleaning, cooking and shopping. All in all it is not bad.

If you get up with Carol and make her breakfast and pack her lunch and wish her a good day at work, just maybe she won't mind you taking a day or two fishing. As long as dinner is on the table when she gets home that is.:D

Hi Sue, fortunately I do my own laundry, dishes are done when we need clean ones and the missus has cleaning girls come in every other week(I don't mind helping to clean, but after I got out of the service I draw the line with, cleaning the commodes:facepalm:), dinner is whatever we feel like making and most of the time, we eat out with friends. The schedule hasn't changed, since we both retired(I drive for the dealer and she works a couple of short days a,week). So life goes on:D. Just a short story..
I was talking with my neighbor one afternoon when the missus came home from work(she was still working full time) and joined us. My,neighbor asked me what I,was going to do when, the missus retired and I told him "go back to WORK full time". I don't think she talked to me for a week. :boink::smack::notsure:

Yea if I'm gonna have to do all that shit I'm going back to work. At least I'll somewhat get paid for it.

Ken, at work today we were given a survey to complete. It had two questions:

1 How many days per week would you like to work?

    1. 2 3

2 If needed to work four days some weeks would you be willing to do this?

    Never Sometimes. Yes

I really love driving for my company but do not want a full time job.

    I chose 3 and sometimes.

We can request time off anytime and as often as we want.

Did I say I love this job?

agree that the Taco is no chick magnet.. SO, here's my version. 1996 BMW Z3 with 85k on the odometer.

    IMG_7976_1.jpg

And, of course, the Tacoma - 2004 and almost 37,000 miles on it. And, I'm the 3rd owner.
