Anyone else get calls from Medicare Health Center, wanting to forward you to a better English speaking person to sell supplemental Medicare insurance thru Medicare Solutions, they want to verify I'm turning 65 this Fall. I keep telling them to quit calling, I'm on a do not call list. They hang up then, usually call twice a day, no calls yet this week unless they called Monday morning before the pup and I got back from camping. I had told them it was illegal to call me and they must be a fraud, so no calls since that one. I found a toll free # for Medicare Solutions, called them, they said they don't do calls that way.

My 25 year old Craftsman portable table saw gave up the ghost today. I have been looking to replace it for about a month now. Since I have 2 cars in my 2 car garage compact size is needed. I caught the last Dewalt DW745S at my local Home Depot. $299 with stand and it is a huge step up for me. Going to assemble it tomorrow and get started making a small step stool project this weekend.

Wish I had a table saw.
Snowing again, supposed to continue to Saturday morning I believe, 4 inches since yesterday.

    Morning all:
Now come on Duane, go get a table saw! When I built my garage I bought a radial arm saw and a table saw, never did use the radial arm saw but used the table saw many many times and have used it many times since. Also bought a compound miter saw which I get use out of, but the next one will be a sliding one which is much more versatile.

Just read an article on this mower, said it will do 134mph , that should cut my mowing time down!

Carl, spending too much money on 100+ year old stoves. Priorities. Years ago, couldn't afford $70 shoes, but bought a $2500 snowmobile.

Ah yes, but you do need a table saw! You have lots of stoves, but no table saw!!!! :D
You did state that you wish you had a table saw, so that means you would have a use for it, once you have one you would probably find even more use for it.
I've cut wood, aluminum sheet, and plastic on mine, great tool to have.

Ripping boards, plywood. Straight cuts too, unlike trying my best with my circular saw. Looked at a couple used ones before I retired, thought they were over priced.

Size was a big consideration for me so I went with a compact saw that will store easily in the garage. I am pretty sure Dewalt will be discontinuing the DW745. It is the entry level saw and Dewalt added the table stand as a bundle for Home Depot. The original MSRP was around $489 without the stand. Some places still have them at $299 without the stand.

Thanks Carl, loving the vacation. 88 and sunny almost everyday. Hope the Nor'easter is just rain for you and not snow. Take care and be safe.

:hattip:Hi Mr Sue, thanls for the info on Costco. We belong to the club, but :annoyed: we aren't getting home until the 25th. Story of my life, "Day late and a dollar short".

Just put it on the "must see "list Gary. Looked it up on Google and it really looks good as you say. Thanks. Take care.

    Morning all:
For years it was about 6 1/2hrs on a rider, down to about 4 1/2hrs now on a zero turn. Then there's 1 1/2-2 1/2hrs of trimming depending on which areas I do and how long I leave it go.

Here you go, needed to replace wiper blades on the Chevy truck and went on the Advance Auto site where it showed 20% off on online pick up at store orders, checked on their coupon codes and found 30% off! :)
Seems like just the refills aren't available anymore and you need to buy the whole wiper blade, ended up paying $25 for two Rain-X weatherbeater blades which were cheaper than a lot of the other blades, they seemed to have pretty good reviews.

 I'll bet someone didn't sleep well last night! 49 years old, 25hrs away from a very lucrative pension, and got fired , that has got to hurt!!!!!!!!!!
    Bargaining chip? :D Will see!

I was up to about 6 hours of mowing on my lawn 64" deck lawn tractor and switched to a 64" 30hp zero-turn. Cut my time in half.

I have to say that I am totally done with snow...and it looks like we're in for another storm next week. This crap needs to stop.

Don't remember who had asked and I'm only on a handful of forums. Someone had asked if Parodi cigars were still available, I just saw them at a local convenient store and they are still being made in Dunmore PA, anyone on here ask about them?
