Carl, unfortunately we have to deal with very high humidity here about 6 months out of the year so I can certainly relate to what you experienced.

Also, most years Mobile, Alabama is the wettest city in the nation but it is still home to me so I just grin and bear (pun intended) it.

Ha! Not really a Mopar fan...just liked the looks of the car. At that time, what was it probably early/mid 60's into the 70's I was just a young kid that was impressed by it:burnrubber:

WTG Modding the Tacoma is a wonderful feeling. Getting ready to wire up a trailer harness later on today myself.

    Welcome to the thread Harry.

I am in the market for a lawn service utility trailer for my son. He is just starting out but it is apparent he can use a trailer. I want to start with a 5X8 to keep it small and easy to stow on the side of the house.

Any recommendations for a name brand trailer?

I got mine from low’s years ago.
Don’t use it often. Nice rear gate.
It has a mesh floor and gate.
I put a pice of ply down on the floor.

It’s only a small trailer so not sure of your questions needing answers.
Does have raised side rails so important for welding and adding pockets for rakes
    And weed whackers.
    2000 pound capacity I think..

I've seen those small trailers and bigger, depends on the amount of service provided. Some need to haul off larger amounts of generated waste. Truck for hauling, trailer for equipment maybe?

TY I looked at Lowes but the payload was not high enough. I need around a 3000 lb gross weight, trailer plus load. A scoop of wet mulch weighs in at around 1200 lbs. Rails are important. I can build and attach walls to secure line trimmers, chain saws, leaf blowers and hand tools.

Installed the trailer wiring harness today. Pretty easy only took two hours. I did put a split wire loom on all the exposed wire runs and ty rapped them to existing wire runs. All functions for the rear lights are operational.

FWIW It is pretty dirty on the underside of a Tacoma. LOL :D

    Afternoon all:
Just thought of something earlier, I have a set of McGuard wheel locks that I took off of the 95. Just for S&G I wanted to see if by chance the key would fit the wheel locks on the new Tacoma, it does and will remove them easily! So much for having wheel locks on if the thieves have multiple keys that will remove them, and I'm sure they do!

No rust just dirt. I took it in for some, quite a few, recalls about 2 months ago and the dealer undercoated the Tacoma. Made the garage smell like undercoating for 2 weeks.
