    Evening all:
I'm sure I will like the cap, had one on a 76 Dodge, had one on the 95 Tacoma, have one on the 99 Chevy truck, and had one on the 09 Tacoma. The one on the Chevy and the one on the 09 Tacoma are both Leers, I like the seal they use on the Leer caps over the ARE seal and never had a problem with the Leer caps. I don't remember, but the replacement cap I put on the 95 may even have been a Leer. All the other caps were bought used, this is the first time I purchased a new one!

I have only bought one cap which is an ARE.

I know what you are talking about on the seal and I put 2 layers of the foam double sided adhesive weather stripping between the bed rail on my Tacoma and the bottom of the cap. Seems to be working so far.

I bought used but would have been very happy with a Leer if I had found one.

    Good morning, everyone!!!

Shoot it. Even if it means flames appear at the end of the barrel. Just shoot it.

When I bought a popup camper I joined a forum to maybe learn something about pop ups.
First thing I learned is they get their panties in a wad over the mention of guns.
    Good to come back here.

Congrats to Hale Hentges from Jefferson City, Missouri who plays Tight End for the Alabama Crimson Tide on a great game in the 45-23 victory over Texas A&M today!

I am surprised that you can do it in Pennsylvania. When I left in Dec. 1973 that would have got you arrested.
No problem here in New Mexico, we are still the old West in a lot of ways.
Seeing someone openly wearing a gun on his or her hip no problem.

I had a buddy from PA who told me that PA was basically Pittsburg and Philadelphia with Alabama in between.

I live in CT and did that the other day. We had to register ours. It appears if someone gets shot were all to blame.

The pic grabbed my attention. Swear I see the brass flying as well. Is that a bit larger than a 5.56?

    Evening all:
Pa isn't the worse, down at a convenient store I hang out at quite a few guys carry both open and concealed.
I believe you are still allowed to own a full auto with a special permit and an extensive background check, I wouldn't want to own one without the special permit, big trouble!

No brass in the air on that picture, I don't think. Barrel length is 10.5" and it is chambered in .223 Wylde. The .223 Wylde chamber design allows it to fire .223 and 5.56 but give a little more stability to the .223. With the arm brace instead of a stock it is classified as a pistol and, therefore, doesn't require a federal tax stamp. I won this in a raffle - it is manufactured by Thompson/Auto Ordnance of Tommy Gun fame.

PA still allows owning on full autos as controlled by Federal law. Processing of a $200 tax stamp to purchase one is still in the 6 to 9 month wait time. It's the same process for owning a Short Barreled Rifle - under 16". My Thompson M1A1 took almost a year to get the tax stamp. Owning one that isn't properly registered with the Feds won't just get you in trouble...it will send you to jail.

A suppressor (silencer) has the same requirements plus you have to notify he ATF if you are going to travel to another state with it.
