Susan, I failed to note that surgery will be on Tuesday Oct. 16 th. I take that as a sign that it is not too urgent although I requested an earlier date and was informed the surgeon was booked up until then.

    Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

Thank you Tom. You are definitely someone who always demonstrates a caring attitude when one of the 60 + crowd needs their spirits lifted.

Mike, I appreciate the well wishes and agree that others are having some tough times.

Glad we are a close knit group here.

It has been said that what doesn't kill you will make you stronger. I guess tough times fall into that category.

Now tell me a good walleye, deer, bear, or '66 Chevy story for a more upbeat topic.

Cruzin the Coast in Biloxi/Gulfport Mississippi is going on this week and I plan to be there Saturday.

Dennis Gage of "My Classic Car" TV fame usually films an episode there.

You can google Cruzin the Coast and see many of the Street Rods and Classic cars there.

It is a really big event and has been held the first week in October for years.

Good morning y'all! Wife and l are in northern Alabama.Got a good bicycle ride in yesterday in Limestone County.10.2 miles one way, better as a horse trail! Chased by a dog at one point but that went better than l expected. Not used to seeing no one riding or walking so it was peaceful.

    Dave you are absolutely right.

What you don't know can harm you.

I am thankful for the early diagnosis.

    Morning all:
:annoyed: Got up early to go hunting, started raining! Seems like everyday they are calling for a 30-40% chance of rain, more like 100%! :(
Fixed a flat front tire on the Zero turn yesterday, likely punctured by a briar, those smaller tires are harder to work on than a full size tire. Ended up putting a tube in it, found out it's easier to patch a tube than the tire! Also finished up rebuilding a ladder tree stand, amazing how much time something like that can consume but now it's as good as new!

    Good morning, everyone!

Any Penn State football fans here? Had this guy show up on our sidelines on Saturday - they have two of our players recruited for next year.

This is what I do too. And yep those little wheels and tires can be quite a challenge to work on.
