    Morning all:
Both deer weren't big deer Tom, even a lot of hunters think they should have got more meat back from their butchers and that they were "shorted", I heard that more than once. We don't weigh them hanging, but after field dressing them, removing the head and hide, cutting off the legs, trimming out the fat and tallow, deboning them for hamburger, sausage, etc., possibly loosing some meat from where the bullet hit, the scrap pile is a lot bigger than the meat pile!
Of course the bigger the deer the more meat, when we shot deer up in Maine the meat weight went up quite a bit because of the larger size of the deer.

More snow today out west, have to clear my dishes every hour or so now, when it gets to every half hour then it's snowing good. Couple inches this morning, another three or so tonight, give my back a workout. Bigger storm for Wednesday and Thursday.

Radio saying this coming big ass storm supposed to drop 10' of snow on Mt Lassen, 90 minutes from me. I-80 north of Lake Tahoe was open and closed off and on last night due to avalanche danger with the heavy snow. I thought that only happened on Hwy 88 in the Carson Pass area?
A kerosene camping stove year I don't have for this one particular model I collect has come up again on the bay. A USA seller has one but wants too much, turning down best bids and has been listed for six weeks now, so a little patience paying off for this new listing out of Britain. Keep my fingers crossed.

    Good morning Susan, gang,
Sorta local radio this AM giving some stats about guns used to commit crimes. Around 1% for guns purchased legally thru a gun shop, another 1% there abouts from a gun show. Not much of a loop hole. Still feel bad for families losing kids or traumatized by shootings.
Crick is up some today with all the rain last night, slushy slop over the top of my boots going to the dog pen letting Repo pup out briefly.

Are the collectors old, the stoves old, or both? :)

Getting older and really old stoves. Cleaning up a Coleman three burner today to pass along this summer. Really greasy, oven cleaner took the paint off too, used powdered cleanser for areas on the lid. Good stove for hunters or folks who don't worry about bacon grease, just like a previous owner.
