It’s a dude who got punked into eating a super hot wing and his animated response that I find humorous. The fact he’s black is irrelevant to me.

My first impression without seeing the video was that of an obese black man with mental issues. Without seeing the whole picture I had a different point of view. I still feel it is disrespectful as it is stereo typing the black community (IMO). What do others think upon first seeing it?? Take it for what it's worth.

    Does get lost without context.

I liked it and found it funny just like any other video where someone makes a facial expression or reaction that seems genuine. Like scare videos, hot food reactions, etc.

My point was made. All i have left to say is fairness should be forum wide not just hunt and peck.

Fairness is definitely a moving target for us. Some people like to push the boundaries and others have a well estabilshed reputation who slip up. Do you handle them the same or handle it differently?

We’ve had instances where we’ve casually tried to fix something (be it a post or a picture) and let the offender know only to have them turn around and find every possible offensive post and report them. I think the record is around 35-40 concurrent reported posts. Some people are like “my bad, got it” others are like “oh, you want to challenge me?”

We are people who make judgement calls based on circumstances. Sometimes we are supported, sometimes we aren’t. All part of the job.

    Evening all:
Now that the avatar has been explained, and watching the video, I understand also and do find it funny. I would be laughing my butt off if I had given him some super hot wings and he reacted like that. Without knowing that though, that avatar could be looked at in several different ways including derogatory ones!

I have also seen tubes leak the oil out of suspension. This Lubriplate 630-2 isn't too readily available, and the places that can order it are 18-25 miles away, so I figured I would take a chance and order more than one tube, no bulk rate price was quoted, maybe if I had bought a full case.
They recommend that every time you use the jet outboard you should pump grease into the rubber donut that surrounds a bearing until it pushes out about 1-1/2" of old grease which usually contains some water droplets, that's what they want out of there to keep it away from the bearing. Jets are a PITB, but they sure can get to places in a shallow river where prop motors can't.

Evening Ken, sorry to hear that you are having some issues, hope it all works out for you.

Evening Sue , cant forget Sue!

I have a tube of lubriplate in my toolbox. We used it to grease surface plates. Last I used it was around '92. Still good?? :)

I also look at it like him saying “damnnnn!!!” And feeling satisfied. Like you just took a bite out of the best slice of pizza ever and your reaction is “daaaayuuuummmm! This is some good pizza”

I'm sure if that were posted on Fox news, CBS, or MSNBC, it would get mixed reaction without knowing the true story! As a matter of fact I would bet on that!!!!!!! One commentator would say that his sources told him that he's freaking out on some type of drug, another ones source says that he just swallowed a stink bug by accident, and someone might actually get it right if they're lucky!

Hey, y'all. I submitted my Studebaker pickup to Bring a Trailer for their approval. It's an online auction based in SF. This is not a shameless plug for my truck. They have deemed my Champ worthy of their site. For $99 they post your vehicle with pics & info. The seller collects money directly from buyer. We'll see what happens. It's not live yet.

It's a 1963 1/2 ton. Was my daily driver/work truck for 9 years. My 15 year old Tacoma is a huge improvement.

Just read an article about two people playing a type of Russian Roulette and one of them, a female, ended up getting shot and died. The only thing that makes this unique is that they were both police officers! o_O Maybe it's for the better, IMO anyone in law enforcement that would be that stupid doesn't belong in law enforcement!

    Oh boy!!!
Just went through 26 minutes of pure hell :)
My wife is picking up 2 of her friends...they're going shopping.
Well lo and behold she cannot find her keys....needless to say every light in the house is on, every drawer is open, every coat is ripped out of the closet...everything in the house is open and on.
It wasn't pretty here from 6am to 6:26am.
Well guess what...the keys were right in her (luggage) purse.
I was very scared for those harrowing 26 minutes of pure hell :)
