My dad still plays 3 times a week at 84 in the summer of Wi. . I do not think he has bought a ball in 30 years . They all come from the water edges and woods . No shame there .

We do not have a thermostat. We just turn the air down on the wood stove.
Also, our down comforter is not very heavy.
I kick my feet out often.

Welcome to the new recruits, fill up the cooler and pull up a chair on the porch.

We went out today ice fishing, I managed 1 perch, 1 bluegill, and lost a largemouth at the hole, not much going on anywhere else either, guys were picking away at some fish but overall slow.

Wilkes Barre, Scranton, is close enough to a big city for me, hate going near there! Our big city to the South is Allentown, hate going there also.
I do miss Eynon Drug though! :(

My 'Big City' is Asheville, NC. About 45 minutes away.

I am a half hour from Waynesville. No city life for us.

    Good morning Susan, gang,
More snow o/n, heavy again, 4" to add to yesterday's 3". Expect another 10" maybe. Chain controls of one level or another thru out the county and beyond. More expected thru Tuesday.
Package of lantern parts is MIA, Postal Service sent them elsewhere, touring the country I guess.

It's nothing but a flea market now...well most of it.
There's a tire shop, small grocery store and a tractor supply there now.

Rumor has it that a possum came out of his hole and saw his shadow.

I guess we will have six more weeks of winter (or what we call winter) here in Dixie.:mudding:

Notice no snow for the Tacoma above .

Crazy weather this year.Snow skiing is not an option this year.A old friend and l usually go to Beech Mtn to ski on Superdud Sunday cause either one of us don't watch pro football (love college ball). But not much open and soft snow.

I'm ready for breakfast now, cleared the 6" or so of snow from o/n. Maybe 20" here now. Dry stuff this time. Path to dog pen, garage.
