A snow plow bumped a car, while clearing around the car so it could be towed, a homeless lady finally placed a hand on a window, so they dug the car out, she then left. No thanks I guess.

Yay, it's March! Closer to the early spring Punxatawny Phil promised us.

I've had my fill of winter for sure. We've had snow 3 days this week so far. Last night was 5" or so. Another 8" called for on Sunday night. Naturally we are leaving on vacation Monday. :annoyed: Folks have suggested we leave a day early but I think it will be better to stay and clean off the driveway before I leave, so the cat sitter / house watcher can get in and out without any trouble. She's not exactly a spring chicken.

Sigh. Hopefully in a couple of days I'll be able to say "hello from sunny Key West!" That is, if I bother to open the laptop!

    Afternoon all:
    Enjoy the vacation Dave!

We only got a couple inches here, I can put up with winters like this but fingers still crossed for the rest of the month.

    Good morning gang,
Up at 5 today. Yesterday morning I counted six Douglas squirrels in my yard, eight Stellar Jay's on my deck after I threw some shell peanuts out. Repo pup didn't come back to me the other night when I took him out, so I went to bed. He was in front of the door the next morning, so being a bad dog, he got to spend a couple days in his pen, let him in today, curled up on his bed now. At least it was in the 30's, few inches of snow yesterday then rain.
Checked mileage on my truck for the last 12 months, only went 7200 miles. Maybe I can get more this year.

After finishing re-doing the pantry in our house, we decided to begin working on the original farmhouse on our property. It dates to the late 1800s and, at some point, a kitchen was added on and the upstairs was split into 2 bedrooms and a small bathroom. Lynn has been working on stripping 4 layers of wallpaper and several coats of paint from the small bedroom. That led her to use the old bathroom...and the decision to rework that too. Today was demo day.

Here are a few pics of the "style."

Once the cabinets came out we found what we think is the original wallpaper that was in the bathroom. It's pretty wild and dates to the 1920s. Look at the depictions. On the one with the circular shower curtains, count the number of arms sticking out. Risqué!! We were able to salvage a few pieces and have cleaned them up. We're going to mount and frame some scenes and hang them in the redone bathroom.

    Evening all:
That's pretty cool Mark, glad you're planning on salvaging some of it and putting it in frames.

Mark, looks like a huge project. If you can tell, what is the ultimate goal of the restoration?

I don't know...maybe it's just me, but some times I really have a hard time believing what I see/read on the internet.

I know I will never own one, I didn't know that such a thing existed!

Car and Driver states 12.5 million. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/new...-expensive-new-car/ar-BBUo4ZS?ocid=spartanntp

Road and Track states 18.9 million. https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/12-4-million-bugatti-la-081000494.html

    That's a difference of 6.4 million.

I'm not sure where I'm going w/this...maybe I'm just old and don't understand....

    Morning all:
 I was thinking the same thing, those options can get expensive, I'm sure that someone like Jeff Bezos could buy it with his pocket change at either price!
I've read a lot of articles where there are conflicting figures on different things, nothing new there!

The Road & Track $18.9 million price is after tax ($12.45 million before tax) per the article. Awfully high tax rate.
