So many companies have been acquired by corporations it is not so true any longer. Sad.

I have a shower dispenser made by SimpleHuman. LINK
It plugged up and did not dispense the conditioner. I thought "CRAP".
I tried to take it apart ... knowing full well makers do not do that any more.
WELL, I was pleasantly surprised, it came apart and was easily cleaned. The ball and spring setup was easy to access and reset.

Woodshed is filled! Split a little more kindling, will be set for the coming winter. I can go cut some more wood now, something to do with Repo.

    Evening all:
The prime field I hunted turkeys in was just sold and I don't have permission to hunt it, also a property across the street that I also had permission to hunt for years was sold not too long ago. I shot almost every turkey in that one field, it was close and I had a really good spot just off the edge of it. :(
Went to another spot yesterday and saw and heard nothing, really windy so not the best conditions, think it's going to be tough to get one this year but I have shot a few at other places so there is hope!

Just saw where they are going to close the trail leading up to Glen Onoko Falls here in Pa., it's been there since the late 1800's. So far there have been 12 deaths and multiple rescues every year involving injured people, almost all of them in recent years. Looks like they need to close it to protect stupid people from themselves, many locals hiked that trail over the years, I may have done it 3 times, but the people it's drawing anymore don't have a clue as for what footwear to wear or to respect the dangers of slippery rocks and steep drop offs.
One article said a woman was on it with high heels, another with cogs, IDIOTS!!!!!

Welcome Chris. You missed filling the cooler with beer. Dude! :)
We're talking fishing, hunting, cars, home improvements and a couple of us talk camping stoves and lanterns.

    Morning all:
Yup, your turn to fill the cooler, welcome and pull up a chair on the porch and join in.
Found some nice fiddleheads today while hunting. If I were from Maine I would have a bag full of them, but never heard of anyone around here who gathers them to eat, must be a Maine thing! :D

Carl, any chance you could offer the new property owners a ride in your '66 Impala with factory 427? If that doesn't get you an invite I don't know what would :burnrubber:

    Afternoon all:
Wish it were that easy Gary, years ago you could get permission to hunt almost anywhere, no more.
Was out this morning, saw nothing, heard nothing, either there are no turkeys there, or they are just shutdown. Usually I can get hens to come in if there are any around, haven't even seen a hen.

Agree that places to hunt without paying exorbitant leases are next to impossible to find now.

Lots of changes in my lifetime. Beginning to sound like other old men talking about the good old days.

Welcome! Pull up a rocker and join us on the porch where the cooler is eternally full of whatever you're drinking.

I turned 64 today. One more year to Medicare, Tricare For Life and Social Security.

It has been explained to me that if you apply for SS at 62 you get what cannot be recovered if you wait till 65.
Check the numbers yourself. I know several people that applied early and are happy for it.

I'm drawing military retirement plus working as a college president so I haven't pulled the trigger yet on SS. My wife has - she retired to care for her parents and my mom so the numbers made sense. I will start next year when I retire for good - I won't hit the full amount but you are right that the numbers support starting early. I have to live to 94 to catch up - if I make it that far I'll still be happy.
