Welcome Bleep! I can tell you will fit in here.

You are right Carl. I was feeling bad for Tom and wondering if there was a treatment for it ( just kidding ) then realized I have been one for almost five years.

The porch just keeps getting better.

Happy birthday Tom and hope those unexpected expenses slack off.

Ouch!!! It's been an expensive year - remodeled a bathroom and bedroom in the old farmhouse on our property where Lynn's mom lives and now remodeling her kitchen, too. The joys of home ownership!!

Thank you for the birthday wishes I had a wonderful day yesterday.

Up early to drive my wife to a surgery center for cataract surgery and to fix a stigmatism in one of her eyes. After this both eyes will be completed and she will not need glasses. In between fixing the one eye back in February she had a detached retina repaired. The healing process takes six months and all the time is needed.

We leave for Michigan, in the thumb area, tomorrow. Where we are staying there is really no internet access so I will be absent for almost two weeks.

A veteran took his life Monday morning in the parking lot at our local VA hospital. I was there 4 hours later for an appointment.

I turned 60 in June and have been in denial about responding to things on the 60+ thread.
I'm old now I guess and I don't fit in with the everything black crowd that these younger guys are going with on their Tacoma's. I cant help it but I still like chrome. I guess I need to hang with the old guys more.
I also just retired in January from working full time. I spent 20 years in the printing industry and 15 more in the electronics industry. I work part time now for a small company working in their mail room and love it. I finally have time to do things. Its great. These are my toys.gasser nats 2017 110.jpg

    Welcome Sir! Nice toys! :hattip:

I'm not a fan of the murdered (blacked out) trend either. I too prefer a dab o'chrome for a little bling.

New guy fills cooler and/or coffee pot with beverage of choice. As a 60 graduate please have a comfy
seat on the porch. I'm the "youngster" sitting over here on the steps if you need anything.

Great bunch of folks here. I refer to them as my "Cool Old Dude" mentors.
... 'cuz some day I wanna be like Ken !
