    So sorry for your loss.

My mom (and dad) have both been gone since '98. Didn't have a cell phone then, or their number would still be in there. Sister who died in '05 - still have her # in there and want to call all 3 of them on a regular basis. Have lots of questions I want to ask them :(

Death of a loved one is part of life but at the same time the finality is saddening and filled with grief. Both my parents have passed, my mom quickly and my dad a long drawn out process. Not a day goes by that I do not miss them. Sometimes in my dreams I will ask for advise and get answers a lot of the times. At my 70th birthday dinner I raised my glass in a toast to both of them and I was proud to do so. Both taught me so many lessons in life and continue to teach and remind me even after passing. I am a most blessed man with a rich and full life due to them, my sisters and brothers and of course my wife and son.

Morning Folks . As I have gotten to this stage of my life, I look back at my parents lives and my inlaws lives as I was a part of theirs for many years. I have been looking at how my kids and Grandkids want to learn more about my family and the wifes family. That is one thing I didn't do as I was growing up and still have many questions that will never be answered. But life goes on and I do think about them all regularly. One thing I did find out was that my Dad went to boot camp for the Navy at Camp Sampson on Long Island NY during WW II and my Father-in-law was there 6 months later. I think what it would have been if they had been there at the same time:D. As I look back I try to remember all the good times I had as a kid and through to now. Life is good thanks to them.

    Good morning Susan, gang,
On the news, guess some were against a parade permit being issued for a Straight Pride parade. Being normal is not PC I guess.

I didn't hear or catch where it was at. Only a brief word on the news.

When I hired employees at the two stores I managed, I had to check approved documents to be sure I was legal hiring them. It was the LAW.

    Morning all:

Things are getting topsy turvey Duane, was just recently that someone burned a gay pride flag and they are investigating it as a hate crime, but if you burn the American flag it's considered freedom of speech! :notsure:
